Revenge

This is also a "guilty pleasure" of mine, and my new addiction. On Wednesday nights at 9pm on ABC, Revenge comes on. It is my new favorite show.. It is scandalous and keeps your attention.. Here is a little of what it is about...

Emily Thorne, AKA Amanda Clarke, is "new" in town... or is she? When she was a little girl her father was framed for a crime he didn't commit. He was sent to prison and ultimately died there, but before he left a road map of how exactly he was framed. Nolan, a friend of Emily's dad is helping her to get revenge on those that set up her father. She has had some near misses, but so far has come out on top. Victoria and Conrad, who are married, but in the process of getting a divorce, and who are Hampton "royalty" are the main target, but she apparently is saving them for last. They have two children, Tyler and Charlotte.. and to spice things up, Emily is dating Tyler and they are soon to be married... When Emily was in juvenile, she made a "friend" who eventually took over her identity and she was tracked down and now is in town and dating Emily's childhood friend and "true love" Jack, and is starting to cause problems... so we'll see how she handles that..

Too good to miss!

Eddie Amazes Me Everyday...

So, last night something happened that confirmed I have an outstanding and smart little boy. Eddie wanted to know a little more about Amelia Earhart. He was watching a movie, and there was someone who played her, and he became interested. So, together we looked up on *Google no less, Amelia Earhart. We learned that she saw an airplane for the very first time at the age of 10, at her State Fair. She was the first person to fly the Pacific Ocean, and then in 1935, in an attempt to fly around the world she disappeared. I think the mystery to this story has captivated his little mind and attention. We read about the last radio transmissions that she made and received, and about the search efforts to find her, and her companion, who flew with her to help navigate. At that time, they spent 4 million dollars to try and find any sign of her, to no avail. Search efforts were stopped, and she was declared legally dead. She has a legacy that lives on till this day in the hearts and minds of many... including my incredibly smart 8 year old, Eddie Paul.

Peyton Princess' First Birthday

On February 2nd, (which is also my Grandma Toni's Birthday) my niece, Peyton Elizabeth will be celebrating her 1st Birthday.  Elizabeth (my fun loving, sweet and care-free sister-in-law) is starting the planning now, and I am so honored and excited to be helping her with this milestone! She has planned to have a "Princess Party" (and wants EVERYONE, including the adults to dress up... don't know how far she will get with that!?!) for little Peyton and I have come up with some oh-so-cute ideas and have plans to share them with Liz tomorrow... but I thought I would share here first.. what do you think??

Wouldn't this be INCREDIBLE! I had this in mind for my daughters' birthday, and may still use it one day, but I thought this was perfect for the 'Princess' theme...

There were so many cakes!!! They were ALL wonderful, but staying in "character" with the Princess Party, this would be fantastic, with the 3 colors of the Disney Princesses- Belle, Cinderella, and Aurora.. to name a few.. I LOVE this cake, do you??

Again, staying with the theme... these would be cute little appetizers, or a treat to send home with all the little princesses who came to celebrate Miss. Peyton turning one!!

I will post more ideas, and ultimately pics from the party... stay tuned!

Something I am looking forward to...

On February 11, 2012, Breaking Dawn Part I will be released! I am so excited, I cant wait to go and buy it!
I know what I will be doing on February 12, 2012!!! This movie to me, was the best yet. Breaking Dawn was my favorite book in the series..

I am sort of sad also, because 2012 marks the end of the Twilight Saga. In November, Breaking Dawn II comes to theaters. Stephanie Meyer should continue this in some way ;) However, Part II is going to be epic!! I am so excited..... are you??

My First Blog

So, this is my first blog. I'm not sure what sort of "theme" my blogs will have yet, but I'm pretty sure they will mostly be about my family... my kids, my husband and our day to day lives. I am a mother of 3, and my children Eddie, Emma and Ella,  and my husband, Martin are my life. I live for their happiness. I am a Christian woman, and try as best I can to live my life as the Lord would want. I am not perfect though. I am a sister to 2 amazing sisters... Nikki and Amber. They are not any normal sort of sister.. each are unique in their own way. I have 3 brothers, Joey, Robert and Chris, who are also unique. They are all awesome! My mom, Paula is also a huge part of my life. We sometimes can be like oil and water, but then again.. what mother and daughter aren't at some point in their lives? I love her dearly. We have one dog, Cholo and he is a spoiled rotten little dog! I am trying to convince Martin to let us get another dog, to "help Cholo learn to be nice and experience having a sibling" but it hasn't worked yet.

Well, that is a little about me and my family.. Hope you enjoy reading my blog.
